Social anxiety

Social anxiety involves fear or anxiety of situations in which the person may be scrutinized by others. They fear being judged as appearing anxious, weak, crazy, stupid, boring, intimidating, dirty, or unlikable. The concern is that they will act in a way that shows others they’re anxious and may also fear offending and being rejected by others as a result.

Fears / Phobias

Many people experience fear or anxiety about a specific object or situation, such as flying, heights, animals, receiving an injection, or seeing blood. Although they may recognize that their fear is exaggerated, they tend to continue overestimating the danger in the feared situations.
